The second day at LFS 2018 was all about gender fluidity, understanding the luxury landscape and growing a business in design with talks helmed by industry stalwarts from Luxury, Fashion and Design.

The day kickstarted with Adrien Yakimov Roberts talking about the evolution of gender fluidity through an interesting medium- Skirts! Men in skirts was a visual presentation of how a simple piece of clothing evolved through generations to represent different things in the gender power dynamics.

Smita Jain spoke to panleists Bev Malik, Buyer Harvey Nichols & Browns UK, Retail Expert Fashion Roundtable UK and Ex British Fashion Council, Brigitte Bae, VM Head, Valentino Middle East, Karan Mehta, General Manager Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail and Shrirangan T, Senior Area Manager for Tommy Hilfiger & Calvin Klein about the retail industry in depth as well as the opportunities it has to offer.

What followed was a colourful display of the collections created and styled by the students at FAD with models sashaying down a 300 feet ramp in colourful attires!

The to day madness concluded with a fabulous show and an overwhelming turnout which consisted of not only students but emerging talents as well as noted people from the Fashion, Luxury and Retail space.
